Today I went to my Crim 135's class. I thought it was going to be a big class but was it a big class? Nope. But you really can't blame SFU, because AQ 3005 IS supposed to be a tiny classroom. I am still not used to be in a room that small though. I was so used to Image Theater and B9200's giant rooms. Oh well....

Okay. So I went to Surrey SFU to retake one of the courses that I have done in the fall of 2003. Was it interesting? Was it fun? How did it go? Other than the fact that the entire place looked more and more like a damn prison with electronic magnetic-locked doors,  and the fact that the professor didn't tell us in time where the NEW classroom was located, and the fact that we waited for thirty minutes before someone actually came in and told us that the room has been changed, it was okay.

Apparently, registering the course in Surrey SFU at the last week was a bad idea, since the computer hadn't activated my account yet and my name wasn't listed in the course. So, I was behind the schedule, somewhat. But the good thing is that we didn't have much to read for the first week.

Bah....

By the way, can you tell me if the cars in these two pictures below are real or are in the upcoming game for PC?

I went to Seattle last Tuesday. It was fun. Despite all the illegal U-Turns and One-Way street violations, my friends and I managed to stay alive throughout the entire ordeal. Hey, you can't blame us. That was our first time driving to Seattle, I believe. At least, we stopped for the red lights, except once.

We actually got lost along the highway, and when we reached Microsoft, we got lost for another forty minutes or so. Hardly any staff there could help us. They all pointed the wrong directions of where Microsoft Museum is! So we circled around over and over, wasting precious gas, and finally, we found the building. It was right beside us all the time.

We also went to the University of Washington. Needless to say, it's nearly as big as UBC. To me, other than being big with a central park along with a giant fountain, it was not that special. Still, a cool experience.

What about meals, you'd ask? Italian for lunch, and seafood for dinner. Of course, not Chinese seafood. Western-style, boiled, fried, and bbq'ed. Yes. It's tasty although the clam chowder was a bit salty.

Here are some of the pictures that I've taken during our trip:

Starting to leave the house, reviewing the map and directions.

On our way to Seattle. At the beginning part of the highway.

Our friend, Danny, acting cool and weird. :p

Passed the border, still sunny out. Wonderful view.

Henry driving for us. The car is not a van, so three of us have to squish in the back. Heh.

Excellent timing, no traffic jam.

Half way to Seattle. We are now in between the mountains.

After 2/3 of our way to Seattle, fog starts to roll in.

Or at least we think it's fog. But this looks more and more like clouds.

We are close to Seattle but we got lost. Michael helps reading the map, as he frantically tries to cover the windshield with the giant map.

Alas, we can't avoid the traffic jam.

The gang is at Microsft, at last. But wait... Where's the museum?!

MSN licence plate, anyone?

One of the plates in Microsoft.

After forty minutes of blind driving, we have arrived at the Microsoft Visitor Center. Jeff is trying to seal my soul in his own camera.

Microsoft Museum Part 1

Microsoft Museum Part 2

Old Mac, with the first appearance of Bill Gate in the Time Magazine.

Bubbly thingy. It's rather cool, me thinks.

A wide view of the center.

Multi-screens, anyone?

Microsoft computer entertainment center. It looks so futuristic.

After Microsoft, we go to the University of Washington. It's horrendously huge!

All the paths in UW have street names.

Dining hall.

Mega pond.

Group shot at the giant pond. Danny is helping us to take the picture.

Space Needle in Seattle.

It's night time already. I didn't bother taking any pictures of us eating lunch and dinner.

Henry, Jeff, Michael, and Danny, trying to act odd and cool at the same time. Heh.

A farewell to Seattle as we are heading home. It's been an eventful day.

Bored. There's nothing too special today, only joining this site for the first time. I came back from school early since I didn't have classes in the afternoon, so I sorta missed the "Great Wall of Bus Stop" that only appears from 3pm to 5pm. In a way, it really sucks to have your bus passing by you without even stopping because there are too many students pressing their faces against the windows as they are being carried down the mountain slowly.

Okay, that was too insane to happen, but still, there were lots of students during the rush hours. I think it'll be better of the translink would just increase the number of buses for students to take.
